Breakfast food-for-camping
Good breakfast food-for-camping requires a little planning. Breakfast recipes are usually simple. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, coffee, orange juice are the most popular choices. These can all be prepared on a Coleman stove or over a campfire grill.
Did you know that you can boil an egg in the fire? Place an egg inside a paper Dixie cup and fill with water. Carefully place the cup as close to the fire as possible. Use a stick to maneuver some coals around your cup. Don't worry, your cup won't burn. Instead, the water will boil. Time it for 10 minutes and remove egg to cool. There you go!
Try cooking your link sausage on green willow sticks or skewered on metal hot dog roasting sticks. They cook really fast and taste even better than pan fried.
Pancakes are easy to make too. Just remember to use low heat on your propane grill. If cooking pancakes over the fire, just use coals under the griggle, no flame.
Here's a tip, try frying your bacon in a cast iron skillet and then dumping your hash browns into the remaining bacon grease to cook. Your hash browns will taste even better.

Fresh baked sweet rolls are also quite easy to make for breakfast. They take time to bake but are easy to prepare using your Dutch oven.
